Dr. Ian Sandler

Dr. Ian Sandler is a partner in the Ontario Veterinary Group, and a practicing veterinarian at the Rosedale Animal Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, with a special interest in the areas of oncology and internal medicine.

As a spokesperson for Jamieson Laboratories, Dr. Sandler educates the public on natural supplements for pets. He has appeared on CTV's Canada AM and Balance Television as the animal expert, and has written articles for many publications, including Dog Sport, Maclean's, Reader’s Digest, and City Dog Magazine.
 
Dr. Sandler graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1994. Upon graduation, he practiced as a veterinarian at an animal hospital in Detroit, Michigan, before joining the Secord Animal Hospital in Toronto as an associate.
 
Dr. Sandler has been elected as President of the Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine and was Chairperson for the Toronto Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. He also participated as a panel member at the Merial Conference on Vaccine Associated Feline Sarcomas held in Toronto, and served as a member of the Records Accreditation Committee of the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.
 
Aside from his veterinary practice, Dr. Sandler currently serves on the executive board of Pet Trust, the research and fundraising arm of the Ontario Veterinary College.
